Trust is defined as being a "firm belief or confidence in the honesty, integrity and reliability of another person".
Trust is one of those things that cannot be bought but must be earned. It takes a lot of hard work to earn someones trust and once it is broken, you may never get it back.
I read an article today about trust and it said that "us" is right smack in the middle of the word trust and that there can be no "us" in a relationship between two people if you dont have trust. Trust is one of the most critical bonds that connects two people to one another and without it, the relationship will flounder and eventually fail. Lack of trust leads to jealousy which is a very ugly and hateful emotion that eats away at you and leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.
I used to be one of those that trusted you on sight up until two years ago.
I had lived such a sheltered life, no one had ever shown me that to blindly trust, can cause a mountain of pain and grief. Now that I have experienced the emotional pain and anguish of being lied to and betrayed, I don't know that I will ever trust anyone again. I have always been such a happy and content person but now I find this small black hole inside me that is slowly eating away at the "happy" part of me and I can feel the bitterness and mistrust building slowly and I hate it, but don't know of any way to stop it. I have had a man and a "best friend" betray me in the worst possible way and even though god says you must forgive, I find it very hard to do. I may eventually forgive but I will never forget. And because of that, I will never be able to get back that trusting nature that I used to have.
In the article that I read, he asks two questions and I would like to present them to you as well. Something for you to ponder.
1) Who do you trust the most?
2) And are YOU trustworthy?
I can honestly say that at this point in my life, I trust no one. And as for am "I" trustworthy, you bet I am. I think lying is one of the worst things anyone can ever do to someone. What does it gain you? Whatever it is you "think" you have gained, I guarantee will only be short term. In the end, the truth always comes out and you will lose. So stop lying to those close to you and try being honest for a change.....

What is Love?
What is Love? The definition of love is a variety of emotions that are related to experiences that create a strong feeling of attachment and affection towards a person or thing.
I think love is taken for granted by this generation. Everything in today’s society has been made to make our life easier and simpler and in so doing, made us lazy. Back in our grandparent’s time, if you married, it was for life because divorce wasn’t easy back then. So that made people try harder within a marriage, and it also made people more cautious about getting married. They made sure they were absolutely in love with that other person before making the leap to sharing the rest of their life with that person. I have even heard that some preachers would not perform a ceremony until completely positive that the couples were in love and willing to try and make a marriage work. Now a days, you can flip open a phone book and a find a divorce lawyer, it’s that easy. Same with marriages; just run down to the local courthouse, pay money, say a couple words, sign papers and viola! You’re married. I think we use the word love too loosely in this day and age. I go into a chat room occasionally and there are guys there that tell me they love me without even meeting me. They think that if they say that “L” word, they can get me to do whatever they want. You will very rarely hear me say that I love someone because it is a precious word to not be used lightly. I tell only those people that I care so much for that I would die for them, that I love them. And that is how it should be. That should also be how you feel when you get married. You should love that person so much that you just can’t imagine life without them, and you would die for them. I wonder how many married people out there, truly feel that way about their spouse?
I feel like our society is deteriorating even though we seem to be making so many progressions in technology. All of these advancements are making us more “me” focused. We are a completely selfish people now. Whatever happened to the Knights of the Round Table? Men back in those times would sacrifice their lives for their country and their family. They had honor. One example is Sir William Wallace of Scotland. You should really watch Braveheart. It is a heart wrenching story of a man and his people that fight for love, honor and their country. If you watch this movie, you will see what love is. Love is such an elusive emotion; it really can’t be defined by words but more by actions.
To me, Sir William Wallace and his kinsmen were REAL men. Call me a romantic fool if you will, but it’s true. How many men today would do what he did?

Penis Enlargements....do they really work?
I was surfing the net at lunch today when I came across an article about penis enlargements. I just had to stop and read it because I hear so many guys complain about the size of their penis and that they want to do something to make it larger. I have tried telling a friend of mine that size doesn't matter, it's the overall experience that does. There are too many women out there that say "bigger is better" but that is a bunch of crap. If they say that, perhaps it is because they have a cavern, to be quite blunt. These women give men a complex and drive them to drastic measures, just to please them. The research that I found, proves that men just need to be happy with what they have because that is all your gonna get.
Most penis enhancements offered out there do nothing but waste your time. You have a bit of a variety to chose from; pills, creams, penus pumps and exercises, weights and devices.
They say that surgery will work too but from what I just found out, this isn't true either. Doctors say you come away with an abnormally shaped penis or one that wont work anymore, in most cases.
The two surgeries are called "lengthening the penis" and "widening the penis". Lengthening involves the cutting of the suspensory ligament which is what connects your penis to your pelvis. Theoretically, they say the cutting of this ligament releases the tension and makes more of the shaft visible but to keep it from reattaching, men must use stretching devises or attach weights to it on a daily basis for about six months.
The widening of the penis is where they take fat from parts of your body and inject it into the penis to make it bulk up but this can cause a lumpy looking penis so they have started a new procedure called "allografting" that takes tissues harvested from cadavers. Isn't that a lovely thought?
From my research, I have found that no medical organization has approved either of these procedures and the American Urological Association states they have not been proven to be safe or effective. According to one doctor, he says he has seen several cases where so much damage has been done to a mans penis that he has had to go and try to repair it, sometimes without success and the man has lost the use of it.
Men, your penis is an incredibly delicate and sensitized organ that brings you and your woman to great pleasure, so is it worth it? To take your "average sized" penis and try to make it bigger, but in the end, making it disfigured or worse, non-functioning?

One more thing that causes Cancer.....
I received an email a couple days ago from LifeScript that disturbed me. LifeScript has a group of "advice" doctors that posts interesting tidbits on the internet, to help us all out. This one was labeled "Can Oral Sex Cause Throat Cancer". As I read on in shock, I realized that they have just taken away one more thing that gives us as humans, pleasure. What is this world coming to, that everything we do now, causes cancer? If indeed, Oral Sex truly causes throat cancer, then I guess I will die with cancer because I am tired of giving everything up that is enjoyable.

In an era of HIV and chastity rings, teenagers and young adults – roughly 75% of them – have turned to oral sex as a “less risky” option. But it’s not safe sex. And while it won’t get you pregnant, it can still get you into big trouble. For the first time ever, researchers at Johns Hopkins University have established a link between oral sex, the human papillomavirus (the same virus that causes cervical cancer) and throat cancer. That adds to a roster of risks already tied to oral sex: herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, and HIV…
This is scary news for the rising numbers of young people choosing oral sex over intercourse.
One Johns Hopkins professor notes that since 1990, the percentage of male patients at his clinic alone who have had oral sex has risen from 50% to about 75%; for women and girls, from 25% to about 75%.
That’s a huge number exposing themselves to this cancer risk, among other sexually transmitted diseases.
Relatively uncommon, throat cancer is usually associated with smoking and alcohol.
The type linked to the human papillomavirus (HPV) afflicts roughly 11,000 Americans each year, about the same number of new cervical cancer cases.
Throat cancer typically involves the base of the tongue, the tonsils, or the back of the throat.
Because it is so rare among people who don’t drink or smoke, the symptoms – sore throat, swollen glands, or a cold sore – are easy to dismiss, delaying diagnosis and treatment The Hazard of HPV can be found in saliva, urine, semen, and genital secretions.
It is transmitted through sexual, skin-to-skin, and possibly even mouth-to-mouth contact.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that 20 million people are infected with HPV and that 50% of sexually active people will eventually be infected. In the United States alone, some five million new infections occur each year.
In fact, the majority of sexually active people eventually come in contact with HPV.
Fortunately, in most cases the body mounts an immune response that eliminates the virus.
But a small portion of people infected with HPV fail to clear the virus, and a subset of those develop cancer.
Earlier studies have linked HPV with head and neck cancers.
What the present study establishes, however, is the link between certain high-risk sexual behaviors, oral HPV infection and throat cancers, regardless of other risk behaviors such as drinking and smoking.
The particular subtype of HPV that correlates with throat cancer is known as HPV16.
Researchers estimate that about 18% of women and 8% of men (1%-2% of the total population) carry HPV16.
The study examined 100 people with throat cancer and 200 without it for HPV infection and asked questions about their sexual histories.
After adjusting for other factors such as smoking and drinking, the researchers found that participants who tested positive for HPV were 32 times more likely to have throat cancer. And those who had one to five oral sex partners were nearly four times more likely to have cancer compared to those who had not.

Jack Schitt
For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt? We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt!' Well, thanks to my genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way.
Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack.
In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt.
Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt Sherlock
Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition named Chicken Schitt. Two of the other six children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens nuptials. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd,
and Horse.
Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt.
Now when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt,' you can correct them.
